Having your own website for affiliate marketing promotion can be very important, but for someone just starting and on a tight budget, it might not be a viable option. The good news is that you can make good money online doing online affiliate marketing even if you don’t have your own website.

There are many different options available to you such as article marketing, building web 2.0 website, free blogs and many other things.

First, you need to find a market and a product to promote. After that, head on over to google and find a good free blog platform, such as blogger or wordpress. You can use this as your landing page where your content and affiliate links are on. Another great option would be building a Squidoo lens. With Squidoo, you can basically build a one page site that has a lot of flexibility. Whatever you choose, stick with it.

Now it’s time to do some writing. Research and write an article and submit it to article directories such as articlebase, goarticles and ezinearticles. In the resource box of the article, place a link to your blog or Squidoo lens. This will drive traffic to your landing page and give exposure to your affiliate promotions.

Next, you might want to join a niche forum and contribute in the discussions. You can place a link to your landing page in your signature on the forum and drive traffic that way. Just remember to be helpful and don’t spam the forum.

Next, you might want to join a traffic exchange and promote your affiliate products that way. I recommend affiliate sites with opt in pages. They are more likely to turn a profit on traffic exchanges.

These are just some of the simple and basic ways that you can drive traffic to your affiliate products without having a website. Many people have made a full time income from free affiliate marketing tools like traffic exchanges, free blogs and other platforms.
